Services and Fees

Under the No Surprises Act enacted by the federal government, clients have the right to clear and transparent information about the costs associated to their treatment when a provider is not directly accessing the client’s insurance benefits.

Here, I will help you understand my price breakdown for the services I offer in order to ensure that you have no surprise costs in our work together.

Services Offered

  • The initial intake is a 45-50 minute session where we meet in person or virtually for the first time to talk about your life experience and the reason(s) you are seeking therapy at this time. If you are a parent/caregiver seeking therapy for a child or teen, then this initial intake will be a parent consultation, where I meet with just you and/or any other adult authority figures desired to understand the reasons you are seeking therapy for a child or teen.

    $200

  • Individual sessions are 45-50 minute sessions where we meet in person or virtually to work on the agreed upon treatment goals. Just as the name indicates, this is a session with one person individually meeting with me.

    $175

  • Family sessions are 45-50 minute sessions that can be regularly scheduled sessions or as-needed family sessions, such as for parent sessions when I am meeting with a child or teen. Sessions involving more than one individual are considered family sessions.

    $190

  • If I engage in any advocacy work for you outside of my sessions, such as contacting another provider of yours (i.e., a couples therapist, a medical doctor, a psychiatrist, etc.) to coordinate care, I will do this for no charge if the phone call, email or other contact method is less than 15 minutes. If this contact exceeds 15 minutes, then I will bill for half of an individual session fee. If this contact time exceeds 25 minutes, then I will bill for a full session (at an individual session fee).

If you are seeking reimbursement on your own through your insurance provider, these types of contact bills are typically not reimbursed by insurance.

If you are scheduled for an individual session (45-50 minutes) and consistently go over this amount of time (i.e., spend 60 minutes in session), then I will bill per 15-minute increments.

  • I provide clinical supervision for interns in a masters-level therapy program and those who have their associate license in Utah.

Clinical supervision is billed per hour of clinical supervision, which includes time it takes for me to sign clinical notes.

    $100/hour
